Is the minimum weight for 1/12 880g, or 840g? 880g was being used way back when they ran 6cells. But now have they changed to 840g with 4cells? Anyone knows?

For the Pre-worlds You have to run cs-27's given to you. You can buy additional sets i believe 3 Extra Sets. The sets given to you will be different from sets you can buy at the Hobbyshop.(Adrian Correct me if im wrong)

For practice you can run CS27GL's from any source. For qualifying and the mains you will have to run CS27GL's that have been sold to you by the track, Stickerd with you race number, etc. You cannot check in your own tires.

The purpose if this is to prevent people from using their own potentially modified tires.

The tires for the event will in sealed boxes until they are opened by the race organizer on April 27th.

Adrian, are they going to be the spokes, or the white dish wheels?

How many sets of tires are we to be allotted for qualifying and mains?

Some one asked me if there where going to be any changes to the CS27GL at any point before the worlds.

The answer is of course...no.

The tires/insert/rim used at the Warm Up and Worlds will be just like what has been used since the 2003 On Road Nats.

CS27 Tire
CSM Molded Blue Insert
Take Off ABS Dish Rim

The only change for the worlds will be a mark added to the side wall to specifically identify Worlds legal CS27GL.

Steve - 2 Sets for 3 Rounds of Qual. 2 More sets if you make the Triple A's. 1 more set if you make the lower mains.

Tires for practice are unlimited.

Steve, are you trying to get in on the worlds or just the warmup race?

Well, I am an alternate for the Worlds... but I'm more or less going to the warm up for work to get a head start on any issues that may arise there...

There can be up to 250 entries at the Warm Up and 250 at the Worlds.

Warm Up:

This is a great race with Stock, 19T and Mod Classes in Sedan and Stock and Mod Classes in 1/12th. This race is a great opportunity for US Racer to see the best racers in the world doing what they do best...go REALLY FAST. At the same time Kissimmee, FL is in the heart of the Tourist capital of the World. Disney World, Universal Studios, Islands Of Adventure, Sea World and more are just 10 minutes away.

The Worlds:

Generally this Worlds does not sell out. If you want to race and you are confident you have what it takes. Contact Fred Howart of ROAR and get the details on what you need to do to get in on Resume. I have heard it's pretty easy to get in. However, unlike the Warm Up this race is MOD ONLY. You should only enter if you are not only THE MAN at your local track but you should have done well at a National level events in the last few years.
