I think the second A-main was one of the best
I had seen in awhile. The 3rd a-main was the last race of the day and you can tell how the cars were
not working as well. I was talking to Ralph Burch after the race and he was saying he could hardling pull the trigger his car was that loose. I think they team learned a lot about the tires and changing temperature of the track.

Graet job with the vids. Was that a last min past by misami over hara in the a2?? that was some crazy racing looked pretty slippery.

I have heard from a pretty reliable source that Japan is making either the process or the material used to make Sorex and Take Off illiegal. They will be running out of tires because they cannot make them any more in Japan. My source said the companies will have to make the tires out of other kinds of materials and in other places(maybe China)..

Default This will have no effect on the Worlds

Rafael (a.k.a., Florida's Little Black Rain Cloud) - This is an old rumor. We asked TakeOff about this at the Chicago Show last year. They said it was partially true as a manufacture of one of the components of the rubber mix used in popular R/C car tires will cease production due to the fulfillment of a government contact within the next few years.

All tire manufacturers are always working on new things. They are not particularly concerned about this as there are always alternatives.

Regardless of this the R/C industry will not be affected for at least another year or two. It will certainly have no effect on the Worlds.

With Hara running Orion Revolutions and I thought a few others...

Does anyone who was there know if they were not cutting their comms that often or were they rebuild every 1 or 2 runs.

Just wondering since the claim with those mods are that they can go longer without rebuilds.

Nexus... I was talking to a couple pro guys at the race, and they said Hara did not even take his motor out of his car in Practice and the quailifing rounds. thats got to be 6+ runs easy.. no cuts... no brushes

tony rivas - your welcome.

nexus - I was taling to Teemu and he said in practice he could run 12-15 time with out cutting the comm. If I remember correctly, he said he would run 1-2 times when not practicing before cutting the comm but didn't need to change the brushes.
