Hara's 12th is the Hammer conversion. ( pics coming ). He actually snapped a spur gear in half in one of his heats with the Hammer.

Both Fernando and Surikarn are using 415's

Jarrod has a couple Pit pics that are gonna be posted tonight, more to come tomorrow.

Race was pretty smooth today, as was said earlier, it was hot fr the 3rd round... 140+ temps on the track ( depending on location)

I'm using a Nilon D100 (Digital SLR)

Nikkor 80-200 f2.8
Nikkor 24-120 f3.5-5.6
Sigma 70-300 f4-5.6

It's a good outfit, but certainly not cheap If you've got lenses, get a body! The d100 body goes for $1,499 at most stores...

Mike Bruce had a little contact with the chicane, which ended up with a little more contact with the wall.

The chicane leading onto the straight, if a mistake is made.... Rafael A, hit it, and ended up on the other side of the wall...

I think it is safe to say, EVERYONE hit the same chicane at least once. Some people just paid a little more then others for hitting said chicane..

I don't think so. He didn't miss any of the qualifying rounds in SAfrica, as he arrived the night before the first qualifying started
He missed the first day of qualifying i.e. two rounds at the 1:8GP World

Surikarn, Masami and Hara all ran practice after the final round, they all looked very fast, as did Teemu.

I had blast running my T1m with a 9x2.. well actually Andres Myberg ended up running it.

I made an odd observation. Both Barry and Burch ended up renting the same kind of car..... A Stratus...
