I have a bunch of their airplane speedo's ,and brushless motors.
They are big and bulky. But reliable.I have some of their lipo batts. for r-planes too.So far they are really good batts.
I am impreesed with the small size of this new speedo.
Does it need a fan? or a heatsink? how much?

It says in the manual that it needs a fan below 4.5 turn motors - the case IS the heatsink as it's an all metal design which is a nice feature. I ran it with a 5.5 turn with no issues and it felt cool.

The price in the UK will be around £199rrp I believe.

I have only used it in modified where it was amazing but there is a stock profile which uses dynamic timing (like turbo).

Dualsky are also working on a firmware upgrade to equal the Hobbywing/Tekin etc, this is not yet finished as the ESC is brand new but will be very shortly.

I ran one off these speedys and the Dual Sky Motors for a while in mod, it has a VERY small footprint for a brushless speedy, had plenty of power and great low speed control, BUT i ran it on some 35C deg days and just on the 5 min mark it would thermal, i didnt have the USB link so i was unable to disable the overheat feature, also i wasnt running a fan and that would have helped ,but overall a great speedy.
