That combo probably has more power & top end but the LRP gear is brutal in the way it delivers the torque which I think is the source of the problem.

This got me thinking about last year when I was running xray and used a mix of LRP and SP, depending on the track size. I broke maybe 5 belts in 12 months, and I'm pretty sure every one was when I was using my LRP motor.

I guess you are nr. 658 from the USA with the same question. You should find some other drivers and contact Kyosho USA. I bet if you can get more than 10 drivers who want to buy the car (and really order it) Kyosho USA will listen.

It's not that Kyosho USA will not listen. I spoke with them and they said even if they were to bring the kit in, it'll be more than US$800-$1200 due to the currency exchange.

I kept the car for a while, not really running it, and also the parts support for TF6 in USA is non-existant. I really wanted the updated lipo chassis but I emailed Japanese hobby shops and they were not interested in shipping anything outside of Japan. I was willing to pay a bit more but not outrageously more though.

In the end, I sold the car to you. I'm very glad that you're doing extremely well now.
