Hello

we only make 24mm width TC tires at this moment.

I have a question about tires. I've been running the exp-qts "rug racer" tires, but will be switching to the qts32 WCICS spec tires soon. We are running on what I believe to be medium grip carpet. How much can I expect my lap times to be affected? Might I require any setup changes with the new tires?
Rug racers have more traction than QTS32, but QTS32 last longer with more consistnat lap times over diffrent temps. with a right set up machine not much diffrence in lap times, generally speaking, QTS32 need set up with more steering.

We are using sorex 36R with schumacher yellow foam inserts and works well, I know we can have a better tire grip but don't know what else to try.

If you can give me a sugestion with sweep option (tyre, insert and wheel) I will apreciate.

SWP-EXP-36P = EXP-36EVO?
What is EVO-R?

The Original EXP tires (EXP-36P) has been discontinued since 2012, than EXP36EVO ran in 2013 but now discontinued as of March/2014. for the 2014 season, we are debuting our latest EXP EVO-R.

Thank you for your reply! I ended up buying a set of QTS32 WCICS spec tires from a competitor at yesterday's race, and was very surprised to find that I ran nearly identical lap times to my EXP28 rug racers. I initially started out a tad slower, but once I adjusted my driving to them, i ran faster on them than the rugracers. I made no other changes to the car.

Are the QTS32 tires available unmounted/without wheels? I'd like to continue to use the qts32's, but I want to use different wheels (black spoked nylon wheels).

How different are the EXP36EVO and the EXP36-EVO-R? What kind of differences can we expect on the track?

For EXP-36P, the "P" stand for Pre-mounted AFAIK, but which tyre is used in the set? EXP or EXP-EVO or both in the same product code?

Thanks, there is no tires set available on QTS series, thats to keep the spec teching easy.

EXP EVO was mainly made for longer life, EVO-R is created in newest mould with enhanced rubber. more traction, faster cornering speed.

I guess this is a question regarding the RROC race tire, RROC tires are based on EXP EVO-R 36 tires.

FYI the Original EXP and EXP-EVO, both are now discontinued. EXP EVO-R is the successor of those 2 EXPs.

Thank you all.

The new body looks and works great. Sweep "rug racers" took it all at the Utah state champs race on the 13th.

I have yet to get an answer to this question. It relates to 1/10 scale 17.5 touring car on carpet surfaces. Anyone know if the 30 compound has been discontinued?

Any plan to make spoked wheels with EXP nylon materials? Really looking for a good impact resistant spoked wheel for GT10 class racing. Ride spoked was good till they changed material.... EXP dish was my favorite wheel to use due to durability. I wish Sweep would consider going into spoked wheel offerings.

Is the ver. 2 Roar approved TC body the same as the non roar body, with the exception of having a roar number stamped on it?

Thx for your reply. You really didn't answer my question, but it appears the 30's have been discontinued and you will have a replacement soon. So that brings me to a follow-on question. I have seen some 28 marked tires in packages with a 30 label. Which tire is actually in the bag?

And related to your answer above, is the EXP EVo-R 36 compound going to run as well on our carpet as the old 30? I am sure there will be some difference, so what would the difference be?

This happened to me. I bought what I thought was exp 30's, and found out after a couple of races that the tires had 28 marked on them. I ended up switching to qts32's expecting to go a bunch slower, but ended up running the same speed.
