I must be going bonkers - I have seen a load of cells by all the usual LIPO manufacturers, namely:

That are on the LIPO list that have specifications of 5600MAH at50c discharge for a 7.4v pack.

Try as I might when I go to each manufaturers website they simply do not contain the said items.

I want to get a new pack, and there is nowt there. Does this mean that such packs are in existance and are out, or is it that they will come out. If that is the case when?

There are many LiPos on the EFRA list today which is still not on the market. If you check the news from the Nuremberg Toy Fair, you will see some of the new ones being presented this week.

You won't find them yet. The Homologation List clearly states that most cells will not be available until about March, and the list is not valid until 1 April 2010. This is the same procedure used in previous years.

Manufacturers submit cells by 1 Dec each year. A List of the approved cells is available in Jan the following year. The List is operative from 1 April the following year for all BRCA events.

For this year, the cells you are seeing were submitted by 1 Dec 2009. The List is made public in Jan 2010 (with a clear note at the top that not all cells may be available until March 2010), and the List becomes effective on 1 April 2010 for BRCA events.

It is all clearly stated in the BRCA Rules, so it's difficult to see why you would be confused, mad or bonkers. HTH

There are no secrets to success. It is the result of preparation, hard work, and learning from failure. Colin Powell (1937 - )

I've highlighted that bits you might like to practice a bit more!!

No problem, Lohan, hope you find the ones you are looking for when they arrive in your LHS. Good luck with your season!
