Default 1/12 foam tire choice

I have recently bought a Corally NGX F1 which uses the same wheels as the 1/12 pan cars (I understand) so I need to know what are the options for a good grippy foams for it. The kit tires seem to be rather loose on tarmac (mine are brand new).
Any suggestions?
What about some good carpet foams?

If the tarmac hasnt been preped, foam tires will be loose. Generally I run Pink/Purple on tarmac (smooth tarmac, blown cleans and spray with 5 gallons of soda), on carpet, I prefer Black fronts, gray rears.

Tire selection is a personal desicision, on how you want the car to handle. 75% of that cars handling is the right wheel selection.

FYI the NGX uses 1/10th scale pan car wheels not 1/12th.
