Default Does anyone have a HPI Road Star 10GW

Im looking for. Does anyone have one they are willing to sell? A rolling chassis with no electronics would be fine.

If you live in SoCal, I think Ultimate Hobbies still has a HPI pan car in their consignment section. It was $100 last time i went and it comes with a red HPI Acura NSX body.

for the worlds years ago HPI and AE tried smaller cars that conformed to the minimum rule dimensions thinking that a smaller car would have less wind resistance. Mike Swauger won that worlds using a regular "wide" 10L so the AE one never got produced but the HPI one was produced but not in great numbers. The car using the smaller chassis isn't that much bigger than a 1/12 car.

I thought the car was a 1/10 scale with a smaller than usual wheel base for performance purposes. With a 9 inch wheel base I thought the car might of possibly been a 1/11 scale or a 1/10 scale with the mininum dimensions to be smaller yet big enough to still be a 1/10 scale. Was the car made in 1/10 and 1/11 scales or were they all 1/11 scales?

You are right matt it is the 1/11th i have one of the cars too. Mike won with was a mutt and 10L front chassie with a L2 Pod.

WE call it 1/11 is becuse it not a big as 1/10 but you use the same tire as 1/10, it still with in the rule minimum.

I might need that body of your if i going to get more made. Talking some people who make body to help with the the last of body for our class.

People have car but do not want to run them becuse they have no body to put on them.
