GM comes also with a new speedo but the Speedpassion is easier to setup and make it fast. GM has a very difficult menu.
The current GM's will not be supported with new updates any more
Why one of those 2?

well, the GT v1.1 cant really keep up with the GM due to the amount of punch that GM does have.
no mater what DRRS settings the v1.1 seams to be always smooth.
would the new v2.1 be better then the v1.1 in punch?

It's fast. The current GM's can't reach that speed. The new one probably will.
I think you will like the speedpassion more because it's easy to adjust a setup.
But why don't you look ad other speedo's like LRP, Tekin and Mamba?
#5
yes i like the SP for the easy setup and the programmer ,but like i said the DRRS setting are weak on the v1.1,are they any better in v2.0?

As you choose a new speedpassion get the 2.1

well look like the GT2.0 can be update to 2.1 so i may go for the GT2.0 and then update via usb

All of the big players seem to be releasing new ESC's at the Toy Fair. The software for the advanced timing on the new Novak system looks pretty good from the pics on their website. The GM speedos seem to be the fastest and most punchy from what I have seen at Newbury, and there seem to be some good setups around, although this was against the slightly older SP software. I don't know what new Speed Passion will be like, but I think it would be worth waiting a few weeks until the prices and specs of all the new stuff is out. I have a SP2.0 LPF and got the Hobbywing USB box to update the software. If you do go for SP then you can either use mine or get one from eBay for £20 delivered.
Maybe someone with GM can tell me if you have to pay for the software updates? Thats what I heard
Ben
Maybe see you Monday?

The new one will be faster but you must now what to do to get some speed.
Advantage of the speedpassion is, is that you only have to play with the gearing. Just like the LRP.
The current GM's had to be send to GM for updates.
You had to pay for it.
The new one's they say will be possible to updated by your self.
I don't now of it's free. Tekin updates are for free.

The Tekin RS is very nice, it is faster then anything you will need + free software ugrades. I went from a GM 90 to a SP 2.0, now the TEKIN RS which in my opinion is the best.
