i think if i were to start over again, id buy an xray. having said that. heres the typical, generic best answer for this question
"find a car that fits your budget and is distributed by your LHS. that way people at local events can help you get your setup and give you tips, you are also helping a local business and helping to keep the hobby alive in your area"
that is the best car.

Losi xxx-s or tc3 these are the more of the cars that a local lhs has parts for unless u live across the pond where they carry xray,shui,etc.

pick up a cheap TC3, and get an aftermarket graphite chassis like BMI or Warpspeed if you are running on carpet. Pretty much makes it like a Pro4 then.
The XRay is really nice vehicle. We have a sponsored driver by us who runs for XRay and we got to see the new car, very nice handling! Maybe this Wednesday I will get a chance to drive it.

i do i do! i have one that would outrun any of your cars no matter how many battery you have in there, how many engines you put in...how myn ports, whatever gearing you guys have! no matter what you do..mine will outrun yours!
