Smile Question on Mars and Mars R

Hi, I am looking at buying a ko propo radio and was wondering what the difference is between the original and "r" version. I know the r is high response, but what makes it high response? Is it the reciever, the module, or both. Also, if its just the reciever, Would that reciever work with just the mars version and make it high response? i hope im making sense, and any help is appreciated. Thanks

I have a mars r and i'm pretty sure it's the radio that has the improvements, not the receiver.

Its both the radio and the reciever that has the faster circuitry. Its only as fast as the slowest part thats why it will not be as fast not used together.

Default Rx

Also, something to keep in mind, the KO 297 Rx is not compatiable with the Mars "R".
