Default silicone gasket sealant + electric wires?

Can Permatex Ultra Copper Maximum Temperature RTV Silicone Gasket Maker be applied to electrical wires without causing damage?

What are you using it for? Do you have damaged wires?

i'm using it to water proof a receiver box that i built and the wires coming in need to have the gasket sealant applied to fully water proof it.

I would use the clear sealant made for fish tanks.
