Default 411P

Anyone have an opinion on the 411p ESC? I've got it in a tc3. Would it be okay for stock class?
Thanks,

The 411p should be fine for stock. 300 amp output, torque adjustment. You should do fine. If you don't have a manual, make sure to make a copy from the website.

Default Torque adjustment

I've always run the torque adjustment wide open. Am I missing the point on how to use it? What's a good way to set the torque?
Thanks,

Thanks,
For stock you should run max torque setting, but when running mod it will depend on many variable such as motor, gearing, traction, carpet or asphalt, size of track....etc.

Hey I got a tekin esc. I dunno which one exatly it is I thinnk 411 P something. Black with gold fins. It has the dials on it and I have the torque set at max. When I run mod I am always dumping with like 30 sec left. Half of it is my fault on the trigger I am sure but would the torque or any of those dials have anything to do with it?

Josh,

What class are you running?

If you are running stock then your problem is probably your batteries and not the speedo.

If you are running mod then the torque setting could be a small part of the problem, but we will need more info.

Hey Mike.
I have the tekin 411-P2 I just checked. I stated I am running mod but it was kinnda just thrown in there so I understand if you didnt see that. I am running sedan mod, which is where I am dumping. I realize that I need to eaze of the trigger a lil but I just didnt know if I should have my torque setting all the way up or not? I am going to be running that esc in Mod truck and just didnt want to have that same problem. I was running a Reedy TI 10x2. Need any more info please let me know as I am looking foward to the help.

Josh,

Oops! I see now that you said running mod in your other post.

Anyway, a smooth throttle finger and gearing with the right batteries is the key to running mod...well that and keeping off of the boards. I really do NOT think that your speedo is your problem.

But, until you can develop a smooth throttle I would suggest running a tooth or two smaller pinion.

Also, what type of batteries do you run?

Mike

4th Annual Losi Off-Road Championships

Just wanted to throw some personal race results with my TEKIN equipment up for you guys. I qualified 2nd in Stock Truck and finnished 2nd overall. Qualified 4th in Stock Buggy and finnished 6th overall (operator error). Both vehicles powered by TEKIN G10 Pro+'s and my Pro-Match packs charged by TEKIN BC112a's. This was my 3rd big event of the year with my new TEKIN gear and I have been in the top 5 at EVERY event with 2 wins. Thank you TEKIN for ALL of the support. L8R
