I think I will be getting a few G-10's very soon. Hang all my cars are under weight so the speedo size is not a factor to me. One of the easiest high end speedos to program and use. It don't get any easier than the G-10. It was and to me still is one of the top 3 or 4 speedos ever made.

finally!!!

I used to own a tekin speedo back when i had my Pro2. They made the most durable and reliable speed controller(s). It would take the abuse i dished at it and kept going, something my orange speedo couldnt do.

guess blue and orange should start sweating now .

I used Tekin a lot when I was beginning. I never had any troubles with their products.
I've contacted Jim and I really like his attitude.
"Blue and Orange should start sweating now". I like that. I think they should be terrified. They've had advertising driven monopoly too long. Thank god the men in black are back.
Just for fun I strapped G12CIII in my car for last race and I had very good results.

Funky! that's definitely cool news. I'm sure they'll get plenty of orders and sales from old school racers like me I started with a BC67, had a BC112A and C that I bought used, plus a few of their speedos (still have the Tekin Titan). Just about everything was bulletproof.

I wonder if they'll get Masami back as a driver? haha

Well that is very cool anyway...hopefully they won't just rehash and repackage old product (I doubt they will, that would be suicide) and have some fresh ideas and designs ready to go into production.

Yeah Jim did seem really cool when I talked to him. Hope he gets plenty of support from all us racers that are happy to see Tekin back. With any luck, we will see some pros coming back to them.
Funny thing is, I've been out of racing for so long that I have never ran a G12 esc.

kevin is crazy genius.

I run a G9 in my touring car still with 40 degree timed 19 turns and 6 turn mods and it runs cool even if the 19t runs 300 degrees

the 420 I use to have ran like a mad dog in oval and I have three r so 411p and 411g2 that I need to send back for the brake mosfets since I tried to wire them up backwards. (doh!) still work in 12th scale who needs brakes.

and I'll have to see if he wants the prototype 600 with torque control built in that I got from one of his team drivers that still works.

or the tekin 112a and 100 chargers that I have. I sold the tekin 210 and the old 2 that I had that only charged at 4.5 amps accept the day I need a real quick charge on my 1200 sc packs and hooked both up to the same battery. 9amps before you could buy it. gee I need to sell some stuff.

Have you guys visited the Tekin web site lately? There is a section on the front page asking for the racers and hobbyist's opinion. Here is an excerpt:

"**NEW**

Customer Feedback

Which products should we build first and why?

It is apparent that the serious hobby people are currently the majority of our contacts. Since we have the attention of those "in the know" and we intend to offer many of the previous products initially, it is time to ask the question. Which products will you buy if available?

I thought it would be a good FYI.

Thanks, Mike

Steve,

The way I look at it is that it can only help the consumer by stepping up and letting Tekin know what we are looking for and expect.

Definately true Michal.

I typed through email that I would like to see them bring back

G10,
BC112C and BC112A,
DIS-350

Also, It said in the manual that the 2nd LEDs on the newer BC112Cs and As were meant for feuture product.

What was the LED for?

I hope they bring out an item that works with the LED!
