Smile It sure is good news!!

I tried both US brands back in the day and Tekin seemed much more reliable, and better performing.
The new racers will be very surprised with the Tekin line of product.
Yes they will be servicing the bc112 chargers when they get up to speed.
WELCOME BACK TEKIN!!!

I got a response to the email I sent them. It seems like they are just getting started and if you read the site, sounds like they are going to start with reduing one of the esc's and the top end charger.... Should be cool aways had great sucess using there equipment.

As many people have said already if they produce a new speedo that i can go purchase the GT7 will be slung to one side and my FAV brand of speedo will be back in it's rightful position

I counldn't believe it when i returned to racing after a 5yr break and i couldn't go buy a tekin speedo

Merciless,

Yes, I remember the great 410K keypad speedo. It was very versatile and very smooth.

Subman,

Obviously it would matter if it is FM or AM as well as 27 MHz or 75 MHz, but all of that aside, it should work with most major brands of transmitters such as Airtronics, Futaba etc.

Please keep in mind that Futaba's older PCM mode will NOT work with the Tekin receiver. You will have to change it over to the FM mode.

I am sure that you will enjoy your Tekin receiver...especially since there will be support for it now.

I hope this helps, Mike

Thumbs up

WOW. This is GREAT news for the R/C industry! Being an R/C old-timer who previously only used Tekin products, I am looking forward to seeing their new product line!!

I just hope that with Tekin coming back there's a huge price war. The current prices of speed controls are outrageous if you ask me.

For $79 buck you can not bet it and it just a clone of a C2. The only down side it 8 turn limited and can not run 4 cell but i never run lower then 8 and for 1/12 i need the small esc but for everything else I rater get 2 esc then one that cost the same

Reborn in Idaho eh? Cool! Any news where in Idaho they are at?
Looks like I may have a local sponsor. I have been using my 411P in all my RC cars.

This is certainly excellent news. I bought a 112a soon after they came out....and I'm still using the exact same charger today. It's worked perfectly and without hesitation all this time.

I also agree with most of you that the current line of products from a *nameless* US manufacturer is not that great, so I'm looking forward to seeing those cool black speedos back on the market sometime soon!

For people who are wondering if this is for real, It is. The new owner seems very much a guy who is into making this company top notch again. I hope it is soon. He's not the type to move on half baked ideas. He wants this company to be long term. If everything goes as planned I hope the reincarnation of Tekin is a major boon to the R/C industry.

I think if they can just get their name out first, that makes the biggest thing. Then all the new stuff comes later. At least it's what I would do. Agreed they make something like the CE, I would buy one myself.
I'm just curious what they may have coming from the design team.
Anyone else curious about it too?
