What are you looking for exactly? That feature is on the G-11.

A-Ko,

Exactly, what do you want to know about the varying frequency of the G11? I’ll see if I can help.

I have not heard a release date yet. The unit is or just has gone out to the team drivers. If all the feed back is good, then it will probably go into production.

take care

Mike
I am curious about the individual frequency steps in Khz for the drive and brakes. I think there were 10 and 8 steps respectively?

I am a fan, just want to know what to expect on the G11 pro TR, which I am very interested in getting.

I don't think I can say what the final frequency is. It changed along the way and I'm not sure of the final out come. There is 10 steps though, for throttle and brake.

take care
john

Besercoe,

The G11 will be out very shortly and Great Plains will be one of the main distributors for them as well.

I hope this helps, Mike

Default Tekin Mini Rage

This may have been discussed already and I missed it, but has anything been released about the Mini Rage systems (besides the bit of dribble on Tekin's site)?

I'm in particular interested in the size, price, and release date. I'm dying to, if it's the right size, get one and stick it into my Mini Inferno (damn thing is just too slow :-D)

Thanks!

I belive the relase date is set for the begining of next month. I will check with the guys at tekin and see if I can get you the size and application. I know for sure that they fit in Mini T's if that helps. I will also see what the price will be as well.

This is straight from my Team manager.
The brushless should be ready last week first week of August. We are finishing up graphics , manuals, etc. Specs are real close to the Mamba big difference is how they operate. You program the Mamba through a really tortuous radio setup. I mean it. It is a pain you program the Rage the same way as the G-10. The Mamba has a huge turbo lag, Squezze triiger sit there. Using the Mini Rage you will have more of a brushed esc feel while getting all of the brushless features. It should fit all cars. Half 8’s Mini T X-ray M-18 the Associated.
Tower hobbies has the price at 89.99.
Hope this helps

Thanks for the info!

Could you possibly get me the size of the motor? I assume it's either a 200 or a 300, but that's a big difference when it comes to running in a Half 8. Also the RPMs per volt would be a handy piece of info

Thanks again!

I don't have the specs specificly but if you go to the website they should have them there. If they don't then you can email the tech center and they should be able to help ya on the specs.

The Mini Rage is a 200size motor and comes in 3 versions. Performance 5.4kV, Hi-Performance 6.8kV and Extreme 8.0kV. The best part will be the speedo though, you'll be able to adjust a lot of the parameters on it and it should feel a lot better then some of the other brushless systems!
