Default upgrading xray T1R

Hi I want to upgrade the T1R to take either a Lipo or 6 cells in line. Is Xray chassis no XR301110 correct to take all the T1R parts?

Yes, according to the spreadsheet or PDF file that you can download near the bottom of this page you can use that chassis with your T1R. It's the cross-reference tables.

Fits XRAY T1
XRAY T1 EVO2
XRAY T1R
XRAY T1 FACTORY KIT

Pretty expensive option for quite an old car, or did you spot a deal deal on ebay??

Have found one for 62, but yes its a lot to spend on an old car albeit my T1R is unused! Might be better off putting the money towards a t2r pro (or T2 009) instead, but really dont want to scrap a decent car!

sadly it makes financial sense to scrap the T1R and use the turnbuckles for the T2R pro.........crazy world!

another alternative is to buy a Lipo saddle pack for the T1R but even that is 50 or so.....

Its a conundrum I am wrestling with, I also have a TC4 with 3 racing graphite chassis that I dont know what to do with, maybe ebay the lot and start again!!!

Suppose the ideal is to find a second hand chassis for the T1r, someone must have one out there!!!

The carbon chassis turn up on ebay & ebay.co.uk quite regularly. A couple of guys who seem to buy cars , strip em & sell the parts. Genuine bargains to be had, often start at $1

You may be better off selling it, if its unused maybe a collector or someone reliving fond old memories will pay good $$(pounds) for it.

Have found a 6300 saddle Lipo pack that will fit for 40, and this seems to be the way forward with this chassis. It wont be super competetive of course but in honesty it will be my driving keeping me down the grid more than the car!!!!

Will keep an eye on ebay but i havnt seen one yet....

There's one on ebay.com right now, unfortunately that seller wont ship internationally.
You could ask if he will post to UK (he may be keen to get some more bids)

Just saw another, this one ships internationaly(he's UK anyway)
See if you can get a pic of the underneath. Ive had to write off a T1 after I bought it, Carbon chassis was trashed underneath (& badly delaminating) despite being in "all good" condition.
