Lightbulb Running nitro foams on electric

Just wanted to see if anybody was running the "nitro" type foams on their EP cars and what the results and thoughts are if comparing shores to colors ie purple/plaid etc.

thanks

they don't fit. They don't fit on losi's, and hpis either, i wasted about 60 bucks on tires after figureing that out. I know you can get them to work on tc3 though. The widest i've seen on a losi is 29mm, someone just bought nitro tires and cut them down.

There are no "Nitro" specific Foam Tires (other than marketing gimicks). The difference is in widths.

Most all Nitro Cars can run up to 30mm wide Foams, though some may have slight clearance issues with the Rear uprights.

Since Electric Cars normally do NOT need the extra grip of a 30mm width Tire. They are not designed to use Tires in that width.

just buy the 26mm tires they should fit, they also make a 28 mm but you dont need nothing wider than a 26mm

I thought that it was mostly marketing but isnt it true that the trc and jaco tires are better suited for carpet racing than the shore type compounds?

A shore rating is universal. A color is just what a given tire manufacturer calls that shore rating.
