I always wanted one of those. Didn't it chime a little song when you turned it on?

Heck Yes it does. You can turn it off by holding the brakes on your transmitter too. Now let's see v203 do that

Buy what you like. Whatever it is, Tekin will eventually outrun it.
Yep, and ya won't have to buy another ESC to do it. Just plug it in to the Hot Wire and, POOF! Ya got a faster ESC!

You 2 do realise that something will beat the mighty Tekin eventually, that may even be another Tekin.

Eventually...but they won't need another until they have exhausted all the different electronic possibilities and run into a hardware limitation. And when that happens I'll happily buy another since this one has saved me from going through 3 others already.

I do believe that the Tekin is the best speedo out there, but there's alot of truth in your statement. Everyone has their claims about how much time they knocked off with the new thing they bought. New car = .2, new speedo = .3, new tires = .2, new receiver wire = .3. You should be a second faster per lap over anyone NOT running your gear.

With all of that said, I'll stick with Tekin for the free updates and great customer support.

For the time being, the Tekin RS/RS Pro are the ESCs to have. Once Novak and LRP come out with the programmable-like-Tekin ESC, the playing field will be somewhat level again and then it will be a matter of preference. All of the ESCs are good but for right now, the Tekin has the advantage.

Tekin is the best right now I love mine when I went from V200 to V203 I knocked almost a second off my lap times in Cincy at the NEGS race. I actually had to slow it down some, when is the last time you had to slow a car down to make it more drivable with any other esc.

None of the "comparable" ESCs I've seen are anywhere near as compact as the Tekin RS. To me, this will always be an advantage.

As they say, Tekin is definitely "Smarter, Smaller, Faster...er"

And just click download. You may want to start reading some of the Tekin RS thread before trying to use it though.
