Well he is right, fanboy or not...If I had bought another brand I would have gone through 2 or 3 ESCs at the minimum to keep up. With the Tekin it has only been 1 ESC and some free updates.

well there's that "one" guy at that "one" track that another speedo is faster, lol. I know a very fast racer who tested all of them and the tekin was overall the fastest, the MMP might be a bit better in a small track scenario. I held off the tekin bandwagon until v200, up until then I could always keep up, or close enough for it not to matter for me, the first time I got "boosted" on down the straight though...

hands down, with out question the best ESC out there is the one I have. since buying it I went from a middle of the b-main to almost winning all my races, I would have won all of my races except some other guys are better drivers so they passed me because the corners are hard to do.

On the subject of old Tekin's, I have one with the keypad on it. I don't remember the name off hand. But its pretty cool
