well you have never ran with foams then. we had a foam stock class and a rubber stock class last year at our track and the foam guys ran two laps faster on average. as for rubber tires costing less there is a whole disussion on that elsewere and I know is I got three sets of foam tires in my box (and one of them is chucked for practice) how many sets of rubber tires do you have?

You only chunk foams if you, a) hit stuff b) didn't cut out your body correctly or c) don't let off if you get airbourne. Sure sometimes there is a freekish chunk where you didn't hit anything and it just appeares, but that's few and far between. Driving style and setup has alot to do with foam wear. I've been running a set of foams that people had discarded for the last 3 weeks, they were around 55mm and now their at 53mm(not legal for big races but fine for club racing). I can still get 2 or so weeks out of them. Cut to 59 or 58mm and as long as your smooth and your setup doesn't abuse the tires you'll get alot of life from a set.

Shane I like the pic of Brandon Rohde and all those motors he was tuning for. WOW!!

It was cool to run my first Nationals. I hope they are so close to home again soon.
