TC3 Battery Mod... Does It Work?

I'm going to be getting a TC3 soon & I saw that a few drivers are doing the battery trick that involves cutting down the center of the chassis to bring the battery more towards the center. Has anyone done this? Does it work? Did you notice a difference? Please leave your feedback, thanks!

When I ran the tub it made a big difference. All I had to add for weight to get the chassis perfectly balanced was 14 grams. Your also moving the chassis roll center twards the center giving you harder cornering without all the extra body roll. Here is some pics of a modded chassis.http://www.speedierc.homestead.com/speedierc.html
