Default ESC and Servo basic Question

Hi all! im working on a project for my Nitro and it concerns stuff with an electronic ESC. i figured i could ask you guys because you have more knowledge on an ESC more than me. Can a Servo and an ESC be placed in the same channel on a Receiver? Would they both Respond if i Press the Throttle?

i just need this question answered before i can continue on with my Project.
thanks to all that would answer!!

nah, i was thinking if i could put a plane engine as a turbine. i just wanted to see how it goes. now the only problem i have left is hot to find a substitue mini blow off valve for it or maybe it doesnt need one. works or not, im expecting a 20% increase in engine performance.
