Yep...well, I did have it, and I also used to have a 16x7 (the one before the V6 software). Anyways, what did you need to know? Or did you just want to know if someone had one? lol.

For those CDC 6.0B owners, could anybody tell me how to calibrate the voltage detection circuitry. I have two CDC6.0B, however, they give significant voltage readings difference for the same pack.

I would like to know if there are any big differences I should know about. And if anyone has had problems with it, or the power supply itself....

I don't believe they can be user-calibrated.

no, everything is fine. It is the exact same as the popular 16x5v6/CDC6.0B. The power supply is fine, it is a 14 amp power supply, enough to run a second charger off of. The power supply that is inside it is the same as the Silver eagle 14 amp PS available on integy.com

So is there an outlet for a second charger?

About the CDC V6.0 B based chargers; They push the cells harder. So the packs will be quite warm after a charge. Ensure the ambient temperature aint too high and also use conservative cut off settings.

The good thing about it, is it's great for stock racing

Mine works good with GP3300. But with my old and abused Sanyo 3000HV, the pack allways get too hot. I dont know if it's because the pack is damaged or the charger simply cant handle this pack...

I got my charger a week ago, and can i say, wow, this thing is great!! One question though. I have a pack of fukuyama 3300s that i tried to charge on the boosting charge. The pack was cool, and everything was fine until the mah went over 3600 and i quickly turned it off !! Is there something wrong or does the boosting charge do that. The batts still work and all that, but i don't want them to explode or anything. Thanks

The boosting charge should only be used on cells that have already been charged - e.g. if you had to charge the night before your race, and you want to freshen them up before putting them in the car.

You'll find that GP's will take over 4000mAh charge from equalised flat, so you don't need to worry if the capacity reads 3600 while charging a discharged pack.

i purchased a CDC about a couple of years ago and it says "version 6.0/B" on startup. recently, i got a used CDC and it displays "version 6.0/B2" externally, this is the same charger. but would you guys know if the software has been changed? are there added features? thanks for any info

TTT any info on my previous question - difference b/w version B and version B2?

anyway, i tried both chargers at the same time this afternoon. i have 6 packs of 3300 batteries (3 packs eagle zapped unmatched packs 2nd gen GPs and 3 packs trinity matched packs 1st gen GPs). i charged the 1st 3 packs on my 1st CDC and the other packs on my 2nd CDC.

i used the boosting function and the freaky thing is, 5 out of the 6 batts peaked at exactly the same time - 30:54. 1 battery peaked at 29:54 i wasnt able to record the mah and peak voltages but im sure they were all different from one another. they just shared the same exact charging time

i had the CDC v6 for a year now,

just wondering why the sanyo 3300 unmatch does not have the punch like the GP3300 unmatch>?

They both are at the same age.and charge at 6amp ( running stock motors) and both equalized after each run.

Sanyo end charge at 3600nimh <---sunday drive
GP end charge at 3800nimh <--- more punchy

Maybe some of you guys have some tips how to save my sanyos.
Should i lower the amp?
