Could be the explanation... My environment temperature while using the charger is 15-20 degrees celsius and I've never seen those messages.

i thought it would be like that too... since i do put a low class filter on the fans, (i hate getting crap into my electronics), the fans do have to work a bit harder, and this filter is a pretty good insulator as well. but if it doesn't screw up my numbers, i think its ok.

I will try your trick out tonight Cole. Thx for the advice!

I wouldnt put any filter on the fans.

I dont find there's problems with no filers - and if there eventually should be, just clean the fans once in a while.

I tried your discharge method, I find that the Vp is about .1V higher and the Va is .03V lower. But I did get a 250mAh increase in discharge capacity. Also got a 3-5mOhm IR increase.

I don't there there should be a trade off like that? But this occured for both my GP3300 and my Sanyo3300HVs.

Strange. The single cell discharge is similar to using a equalizer with auto cut off. And with an equalizer, almost everybody get lower IR and higher voltage, not the opposite.

I dont know. Maybe you should ask this question in a new thread, with a proper header, this thread may have a mis-guiding header....

Default Quasar Recall

You guys may have seen the Quasar Pro Recall thread...

So are we also affected. Somebody posted that the QP is actually made by Eagle, and Integy CDC is an Eagle in disguise... and if you look hard enough, the CDC is a QP minus the power supply.

anybody had a battery explode on their CDC yet?

rough512 - I've had my 16x9v5 for a few years now. No problems at all so far, it's been great. If there is a recall for the cdc's I'm sure it will get around.

Both my CDC and batteries are fine, thanks

The CDC and the QP got different features - like the QP only can take 3 cycles, while the CDC can do 9.

Dont spread bad thoughts about a product, if you aint got any evidence

If ever you decide to sell your CDC charger, what would be your next charger?

The GFX is where it is at! I was planning on getting the 16X5V6 but I decided on the GFX just recently and got it yesterday.
