Motor Cooling Fan:Where do you hook up wires to?
I have seen pics of them hooked up to the battery wires but I also have seen the positive wire hooked up to the "A" motor wire.
Would hooking up the positive to the "A" motor wire allow the fan to go on only when throttle is applied?
Which would be the best way?

How good are you with a soldering iron??
I solder mine to the speed control where thee battery wires connect, that way there not in the way wen disconnecting an connecting the battery etc
it also means the fan can run without turning on the car etc plus the fan gets the full 7.4volts from lipo not just thee 5volts from the reciever, so the fan works better

I got mine directly soldered to the deans plug together with the battery wire and I use a black shrink tube to make it stealth and it looks clean plus you get the full voltage thats meas the fan will blow more air to the motor for better cooling.

I thought it read it's fine off the battery pack aslong as it's the main pack and not a seperate reciever pack etc?? ( may have read it wrong ??)
going off the main battery does give you higher fan rpm but that also means increased cooling
Going to the battery deans is ok too but I found being such thin small wires they break easily when u bend them etc to move the wires etc wen plugging un-plugging the packs (usually right where the heat shrink ends)
so I've gone to the speedy instead, plus it looks bit neater without the wires going everywhere
