High current batteries

This is for an HPI micro rs4. I have heard that both 6 and 8 cell 2/3A packs are best. I am looking for some good batteries to build the pack. LHS only have the standard 1100mHh 2/3A cells. I am looking for better cells.

Has anyone used these?

Are they good?

I've been using KAN 1050mah packs in one of my Mini T's and a Venom Racing 1100mah pack in the other. They're both really fast and good run times.

How much are those?
If I buy 24, these are $1.40/cell. That seems pretty good for a high current cell. I can build 4 6-cell packs or 3 8-cell packs.

Those are $3/cell. If these are even close to as good as the KAN cells, I can build 4 packs for the price of one of those prebuilt packs.

It's good to have so many choices, even with high current cells.

I sell the KAN cells, and I've done a lot of testing with them.

He's claiming 20A discharge with no voltage loss? Sorry, that's a long way off the mark. Halve that figure.

They are an excellent cell - but they don't perform like a sub-C...

LOADS of performance for a "Micro" car though.
