The 3200/3600 does fit very well with the different steering arms. I found the only problem to be the access to the plug socket inside the bulkheads. With the 3200/3600 packs, the battery will need to be securely mounted, which is difficult. I used tape and the battery trap with 2mm shims under the posts, but even that, it still moves around more than I would like.

You need to make sure it is secure because you don't want the battery to hit the bulkheads, the belt or the pinion—which it is close to all of them.





I actually found that the Orion Platinum 4800 fit better in the car—and more securely—as I could make 2 or 3 lexan inserts to tape to the bottom of the pack to fit into the battery slots on the chassis. With the Schumacher battery strap on the car, the battery doesn't move AT ALL.

Yokemad...A bit of advice...mount the fan to the endbell..so it blows straight into the endbell...motor runs a lot cooler and more efficient...remember vents on can force air out

i put servo tape on the chasiss then put battery tape on the battery and it works perfect the battery doesn't move at all and you don't even need a battery strap.

The missing part on the bottom is the piviot block spacers which according to Adrians post is 3mm front and rear, but he is using 2mm front and rear and the shock possition which I believe is the second hole out (or that is what PDub usually uses). Hope that helps. I'll be trying this setup at SpeedWorld this weekend to see how it works in preperation for the Reedy Race. I'll let you know how it went.

Matt, what handling characteristics have you noticed from trying the top deck both ways? I only picked one up the other week and I had servo foulage with it the 'UK' way so ran it the other way which seemed fine.

It seems it's more of a 'what works for you' kind of preference here, although I'd be interested to find out whether it's worth messing about with the horn and nut etc to make it fit both ways.
