Yes but if you want faster service he needs to keep the Vette and just get a trailer to pull behind it.
ok, Mcgoo's iic setup with these changes. I stood the rear shocks up 2 hole and reduce the inner camber link shim by 1mm. the stock center track rod mounted 1 hole from full back. also running 5 degree block, but I think the 6s will work a little better. also running 7 for rear droop. was able to maintain 12.1s with a few 12.0, once the peak was gone on the batts, was doing 12.2-12.3. no traction roll from new parma 53 (~60mm) to <54mm. car was most consistent with 57.5mm-58mm. traction is med, but not as good as a race day.
what did you find that those adjustments did for you? or better yet, what was the car doing, and why did you change? just curious.....
the car was sluggish in the corner after the sweeper. so it just help the car to rotate better. I think the stock chassis flexs quite a bit under stress and was not allowing the suspension to work. so standing the shocks up livened it up. the camber link change was just the first change. I did not move it back to see if standing the shock up was the real "fix"
I can tell you this. with the stock chassis 13.5 foams, the stock chassis is just not as responsive. i had to plan the corner further ahead then with my carpet car. and it seam to not hold the sweeper as tight. but that is probably a good thing for newbies. also the chicane on the right is a little harder to maneuver. I actually had to make it almost 2 turns(left, then right) instead of a "wiggle"

did you change the horizontal or the vertical link 1 mm? Which top deck?
Those were the two areas of the track I had the hardest time with. It was just so slow to respond. Way to go Yang.

the stiff top deck(not the carpet) and it was the vertical. so the balls stud is 1mm higher on the inner camber link.

How many Schuie guys are gonna be in Cleveland this weekend?
I know Chris and I will be there. I won't be able to run though, I gotta work Saturday. Looking forward to putting "faces with names."
Also, are you guys all running the standard kit servo mounts? Does anyone make light aluminum ones that would fit the mi3?

Okay, I figured I'd check. I've seen aluminum ones on other cars, and wasn't sure if the ones in the kit were going to hold up. I hadn't had any problems yet, just trying to keep an eye out.
Other than that, the stock mounts will work fine.
I agree with that.
