I don't know the weight or dimentsions of the cire lipo, but I would imagine those figures wouldn't work for the 4800 I am using. Thanks for the help anyway though. Having a lighter motor or esc would be a great help!!

Hey Adam hold one of those Core lipos for me....maybe 2

Adrian you still running yours? How's it holding up? Also why the hell doesn't the ceramic diff hold up as good/long as a tungsten carbide one?

ok, Mcgoo's iic setup with these changes. I stood the rear shocks up 2 hole and reduce the inner camber link shim by 1mm. the stock center track rod mounted 1 hole from full back. also running 5 degree block, but I think the 6s will work a little better. also running 7 for rear droop. was able to maintain 12.1s with a few 12.0, once the peak was gone on the batts, was doing 12.2-12.3. no traction roll from new parma 53 (~60mm) to <54mm. car was most consistent with 57.5mm-58mm. traction is med, but not as good as a race day.

Awesome Yang. Thanks. Ill be giving you a call tomorrow to make sure i got all the details right. You wouldn't happen to have a second set of light blue and light red xray springs, would you???

As for the ceraminc balls not lasting .. .

I had the same issue, and being the geek I am brought my diff balls to work and took a look at them under the stereoscope. I had two diffs worth of balls and half of them had chips in them. Some almost looked like the moon. I reminded me of when you get those humongous jawbreakers and you chip a layer off. The rest of the ceramic looks glass smooth, but the chips were obvious. I don't have any used carbide balls to look at yet as theyre still in my diff working well.

and while were on the topic . . .If you are feeling thrifty the Losi thrust bearing with the plastic black retainer is a steal for 5 bucks. I have had mine in the car for almost 2 months and haven't rebuilt it yet running foams on carpet. Still butter smooth!

Are these the white ceramics or the black ones?

I have heard that the white ceramics have proven to be too hard and brittle, and that the newer black ones that some companies now use are a shade softer and more resilient.
