Jon Kerr, Just wanted to say thanks for the excellent setup from reedy. Only ended up changing two things after running it, went with a little bit harder tire for stock class and ran the next step up harder spring on the front. After that it was dead on. Thanks Again

Just as a re-cap to what I think I've been seeing around here. To get ready for carpet season, this is the good stuff to pick up.

-2.5mm chassis
-front diff
-6 deg C-hubs

Already got the heavy springs and stuff covered, just wondering about the specific Mi3 stuff.

Thanks

I tries some stuff this last weekend on a really high bite asphault track car was dialed i ran the
-2.5 carpet top deck (new one)
-gold sway bar
-light front blue spring but with rear white
-silver rear sway
-and 1 mm kick up-
-and the aluminum 1 degree rear hubs
the gold sway and kick up helped in the hight spead
and the hubs helpd to let the car rotate through the corner to help steering

Darkseid,

I think the stiff/wide/carpet top deck is needed more than the thicker chassis. Tracks these days are not producing the amount of grip we experienced a few years ago (except for CEFX Raceway).

Goetz can probably give better advice as he is the carpet specialist for this car, but save yourself a couple of bucks and try the stiff top deck first.

Wish the driver had been as dialed as the car. We would have had 2 Mi3's in the show in 19 turn.

From the set ups I have sen and the week or two I have had on foams with the Mi3 I am not sure you would need the 6* hubs yet. Ive been running 4* with Goetz's set up from the book (for te most part) and the car is on rails on our low grip carpet. We duplicated the vegas layout at our track and after running it alst night I am VERY pleased.

Hey Jimmy,

I have run the tire on my mi3 at the C. I ran the "blues" they seemed to be just like the "cs32 take off" just a little more sticky.

Just my 2 cent

They apper to be the same profile, just check the glue every run. The rims seem to be harder. I do not know if they have fixed the glue problem?
