One of the best if not the best most consistant touring car I ever had was the MI2 EC. What a great car it was for me. The new stuff out is easier to work on but the EC just worked great for me.

I was thinking of using a piece of the battery bar to make something like the body mount on the rdx. I'll see. Now if only I could find an idea to get rid of this front bumper top plate... this is SO ugly.

Maybe you could do something about the ball cups? Why not offer your car a full set of RPMs ? Ok, building turnbuckles is a pita, I know...

Marco your old school Schuie looks great. I'm really thinking hard about going back to touring cars and retire the offroad stuff for awhile. Touring is still easily my favorite type of racing.

Have the same question, but about 5 years after the original poster.

Schumacher Menace GTRe

FR81 Stock Menace GTR body
FR82 Porshe 911 GT1 body

Either one of these two stock ones in clear, or any other 1/8th onroad that will fit will work. I can't seem to find anything that appears to fit well. MUCH appreciated guys.

You will struggle with front belt length when using the EC layshaft, it's half a tooth out. The EC chassis was lengthened slightly between the layshaft and front diff pulley to accommodate the half tooth size.
