Lowering the diffs should give more traction on which ever end. Most of the guys in Europe and England are now running the diffs flat on the chassis along with the foam spec towers. I have yet to try this back to back, but it's on the list.

Adam Rogers just had a great result using this method, but keep in mind they have VERY LITTLE traction there; http://www.secureonlineshopping.biz/...&pagewidth=550

I run the diff flat on the chassis in front ,and a 1mm shim under the rear bulkheads and top-deck. It seems to give a little more corner speed

Donny and I had a very interesting ordeal with very low grip on Sunday. The parking lot track we were at literally felt like we were running on water when we first went out there. Everything we did to the car was to help it roll more. We raised the inner camber links, disconnected the swaybars, added droop, lengthened the wheelbase both front and rear. Next step was going to be lowering the roll centers 1mm all around but I didn't end up needing it. I had my shocks laid down and found that without the sway-bar attached, standing them up (making the suspension stiffer and more linear) really gave the car a lot more grip without having to go to a softer spring. I think it's because not having the sway-bar will allow the weight to transfer to the outside wheel and the heavier spring (or more upright position) will force the outside tire into the track harder (to a point) rather than just storing that energy like the softer spring would do. We both ended up with very good cars by the main but Donny had some bad luck on the first lap. I ended up third.

This was the best part about getting a top 3

Sometimes This was not exactly a club race though. It was at Irwindale Speedway. Scion was having a big car show there and they had Charlie Barnes come out and setup a track for an exhibition type race. Wasn't the biggest turnout but we had a pretty good modified class.

Do a little testing and let us know what you find
I know when I ran my Losi it really did change the handling of the car. Like Paul mentioned and some others the lower diff setup should yeild more traction on whatever end you of the car you do this to. I will try to mess with it this weekend.

We have to be patient with Clint. He often doesn't know what day or even month it is.
