Roberto- It's actually the carpet car. I've removed three of the center braces to add flex until I can get my hands on a rubber spec top deck. I preferred a stiffer car on with the Mi2. So that's where I'm starting. I'll probably be removing one or both of the remaining braces in the deck to fine tune the chassis flex. Plus, where I'll be racing this car mainly, SoCal, a stiffer chassis seems to be the ticket. I'll do some testing with it and post up what I find.

wyd- Thanks. Lynn does a good job. It's just a Mazda 6.

I think the wider stance of the carpet car will be better anyway. Awesome looking paint job. Hey Brian I might need your guy to hit me up a lid...think he can handle that?

Man Jon that paint job really made that body look like a whole different car. He did do a very nice job. Thanks for the info.

Lynn is painting my sedan and 1/12th Snowbird's bodies. I gave her an idea of what I wanted. I can't wait to see what she comes up with!

A year and a half ago I was looking for a painter. She had me call her @ 10:30 our time to describe what I wanted for the Reedy race the next weekend. I said white pink and blue and she came up with this scheme, painted it, and shipped it in 2 days in time for Reedy. She's awesome.

Run the Schuie white springs all around, 30wt. front, 35wt. rear. If the track is really bumpy, try a lighter oil (25wt. front 30wt. rear) so the shocks don't pack so hard and bounce the car around. You may want to try not running swaybars if too if the lighter oil doesn't work.

Still working on that. I think it's going to have a lot to do with the track you run on. SoCal is different than any other track out there. It's very high bite so the stiffer car seems to let the suspension do it's job better. Too much flex and the car can feel too stuck.

Can anyone help me out with a conversion for droop??? I do not measure droop the way teemu does and I want to know what the droop is converted to the "normal" way of measuring droop (ie. using ride height).

Teemu droop = 24 and 25mm at axle

"Normal droop" = ? and ?

The best way to figure that is to use Teemu's method once. Set it like he does, then check to see what that droop setting gives you with your method.
