Not to change the subject here but did any one see pics of the New FK06? Looks just like the Tamiya! That looks just like the Schumacher!!!! Why do all these other companys come out with cars that all resemble the Schuie?

It is very difficult to produce a touring car today that looks different, but still incorporates all the needed features. I'm sure if you look at nascars, indy cars, cart cars etc....They all look pretty close in design.

Not to rain on any parades, but like P-Dub said, its kinda hard to have an idea in mind of how you want your car to perform, but still make it look very different than everyone else.

Besides that, as much as I love Schumacher cars, they're far from the first company to use that layout. In fact, if you track the cars and who has actually released thier car already, I would say that the Mi2 EC is about the 3rd or 4th car to have that general layout.

Keeping up with who 'copied' who is kinda hard these days, but I don't think Schumacher falls into the catagory of 'the people being copied'. Not this time atleast.

It's alive!!!

Ok I know it's not the EC but I found it nib for $199.00 so I had to take it
I plan on making it's first run at Superior this weekend and hope to meet some of the Shumacher guys, This car went together smooth and I'd like to talk with the guys running it for advice, ect. Anyone have any suggestions on the FIRST thing to upgrade/change??? Oh yeah this thing has freespin,oh-so-nice. My only concern at this point is whether or not to keep the stock dampers, they look nice but are sorta hard to build--but hey I am digging this car big time

You could turn the shock collars up side down and also run the baby blues up front and the white springs in the rear. Also pick up a spool for the front later on.

I would also pick up a set of BMI shock towers.
http://www.bmiracing.com/

If you have the extra cash pick up a set TRF shocks, and A\E spring kit.

There is always a big Schumacher presents @ Superior and they are always willing to help out.

See you @ Superior on Sunday.........

Later,
Eric

Actually Xray and Corally did copy our diff output blades.

We were the first company with a low drive ratio drive train (1.80:1). Everyother belt car followed suit a month or two after the origianl Mission was released.

If initial testing is indicative of how good our new shocks are you will be seeing them on a lot of cars other than EC's next year. There is one detail on the shocks that Schumacher is doing before anyone else. They will be the smoothest longest lasting shock on the market.

I bet this feature will be copied by most car manufacturers within a year.
