Amongst other things i've noticed that Teemu elects not to put screws on the top deck through the motor mont. Is that some sort of trick perhaps? allows more flex thus increasing grip?????

Many of us don't use those screw holes. It can make the car flex unevenly from one direction to the other because there's only screws on one side of the top deck. This way you will have even flex side to side.

Believe the towers will be fine but not the chassis and top deck.

The towers will fit but the shocks will lean in more than with the EC towers and you will have to run the inner camber ballstud lower

The BMI towers will fit, but the Diff risers that come stock will also need to be removed. However BMI will make towers for the new EC once the car is released

Default mi2 ec

what parts are going to be interchangeble from the old car and the new one?

i have the aluminum front knuckles and rear hub carriers, extra arms, 2 and 6 degree casterblocks, carpet shock towers, and extra rear belt.

i am going to try and sell my mi2, but i want to know what i should keep and use again.

Some parts will fit, but may have been upgraded.

Front & Rear arms/Steering knuckles/caster blocks/bell-cranks/Diff housings/driveshafts/rear belt/top-deck/hub bearings/out-drives/suspension mounts/ball-cups/ball-ends/sway-bars will all be updated, but the old ones should still fit in a pinch. All the geometry has been updated

Layshaft/layshaft mounts/motor mount/chassis/towers/front belt/diff pulleys/layshaft pulleys/body mounts/rear hubs/out-drive bearings/riser plates will be all new....I'm sure I missed a few
