There's so much different from this car to even a fully hopped up Mi2 that it'd probably end up costing more that a full kit to try and convert it. So no, there won't be a conversion kit. Sorry.

Hey guys and girls,

I ordered a bunch of 2.5mm Ceramic diff balls for a friends Mi2 and I have 75 left over. Check out my ceramic diff ball thread in the For Sale forums if interested.

Thanks,
Ray

If it's A$560 plus freight and GST thats well into the high $600's so your rumoured $700 might be close - I don't know the Aussie price yet either but will let you know asap.

There will be no EC conversion. All the alloy parts on the car are diffrent from the Mi2 to the Mi2EC so it would be too expensive.

Hey Jon is it better to use the original stock upper deck or the BMI flex deck for my BMI2 ?

Depends on the surface. If it's low grip asphalt, I'd go for the flex deck. I normally do but I shattered it right before Vegas (not that I needed it there) and Jason's been buried so I've been running the stock with the BMI chassis without any problems. Stock will probably make it a little more touchy being more rigid but it's not anywhere near like running with a solid carpet deck.

Use a more flexible top deck on anything but carpet. You need some flex to help make the car easier to drive in lower grip conditions.
