OK guys I need some help I've been a YOKOMO guy for the past 7 years of RC racing. I've been running the YOKOMO BD going on 3 years. But I think It's time for a change And I'm really looking at this car as my new tourer. Please help me decide.

Not much to decide. Do you want the most adjustable touring car on the planet or not.

Nice. Like any car you need a setup that works for you but if you mess around and try different setups you will hit one that dials you in. The car has every adjustment one needs to make a car work well.

Many guys posted setups that work and will get you close. Just a few adjustments to dial it in to your liking.

I've been running the stock shafts with a 3,5 brushless for some months now, and no failure. Replaced the blades once, but thats it. Only gripe to them was the way they were assembled from the factory, but once that was taken care of, no problems at all.

And this is with a spool.

Coming from the Yoke BD the first thing you will notice is how many more adjustments you will have. I use to run Yokes back many years ago but found that every year it was harder and harder to find parts.

I'm sure you will find this car to an excellent choice. Tried many of different touring cars over the years and always end up with Schumacher as I have found they just work great overall and I like the support from Schumacher on this thread and if you call down to the shop.

They hold up just fine, I've only replaced them a couple times since I got the car, and that was basically just when I would rebuild the car before a big race. The very first ones had problems with the pin breaking, but the new stuff holds up great.

I just got some new CVD's delivered a couple days ago. I ordered 4 pairs, and out of those, not 1 CVD was bound up. I havent had a chance to check them out, but I dont think there is any thread lock on them (thank god!) They also changed the bone color to polished aluminum, looks pretty trick

The new ones look great. Mine are also nice and loose from the factory with no binding and no threadlock. Very nice.
