I don't care what kind of pics you post...

Mi3
Mi2 EC

You at the Cubs game..

Speaking of games when are you bringing me to the Bulls game again :P

===

Mi3 random thought.

With the included spur and internal gear ratio are we able to hit a final drive of about 9-10 which seem like what most guys run their Novak 4.5R BL systems at.

Fine I'll just browse your site...

PW and Co. probably didn't realize you were not only a fast RC racer but also an artist.

Ran my Mi3 again last night indoors on a tight carpet track, rubber tyre, and really struggled for consistency. Used Chris Ashtons Kit carpet setup but with a one way making the changes Kevin K suggested a few pages back. I don't like using the spool indoors as the driveshafts break easily so am thinking about using a diff (i know it won't be as quick!) unless any others have had more success with the oneway and can give me a few more pointers?
Any help gratefully recieved! i know its early days!
Cheers

Paul

mutley -

i just did some practicing yesterday on carpet rubber tire - i was on a very low bite track, but i got the car close to where i want....

what was your car doing? I found with Ashton's setup the rear end was way too loose and car was not stable for me on my low bite track....

here are some changes i made....

FRONT:
lowered roll center from a .5 shimm to 1mm shim
lengthened camber link from a 4mm shim to 3mm shim
- i played with laying the shocks down one more hole and raising and lowering the diff - but i kept the diff high and 3 holes in from the outside for the shocks....

REAR:
decrease the rear hub shim from 3mm to 1.5mm
lengthened rear tie rod by going from 4mm shims to 3mm shims
layed the shocks down all the way on the tower
lowered roll center from 1mm to 2mm shims

The car was pretty close - its so hard to tell b/c of the lack of traction - but the car was much more stable and tons easier to drive....

with these changes i felt like the car wasn't popping out of the corner though - it was almost too planted.....i am going to do some more testing tomorrow for our series race - the track will be prepped with paragon so traction should come up quite a bit....

hope that helps....

Please tell us at least that the cars have been shipped from the UK to our shops? Maybe someone in the UK can ask Schumacher and find out for us poor US destitute drivers- ask the Queen to intervene! Help us---

Dawgmeat- thanks for taking one for the team- Adrian has been quiet lately- not giving us the morsels and crumbs as often as he did- but now you risk being in his black list for leaking top secret information- good job, and I'll the Queen to speak with Adrian and get you pardoned.

I wonder what got shipped- the first 30% of the first batch of pre-orders, or the whole first batch of pre-orders? Only Adrian/PW can fill us in , or whoever dares and call PW or Adrian and get the word from them.

Our brotherhood or Mi3 fans in the UK- see if you can leak some more detail

Adrian doesn't seem to be up uptight very easy to talk to, as a matter of fact I would call for something simple and end up having 10 minute conversation, adrian love's talking about rc cars
