Default just a question

hey guys,
I'm considering trying the MI3...but would like to get some thoughts about how it will be running carpet foams?

Please share...i'm debating on ordering in the next few days.

Thanks
OL.

no reason not to.

the new platform addresses any issues prior models had. the bulkhead design makes the car stiff with minimal thickness graphite. hingepin width is now variable, so adjusting scrub can be done. and the new steering is spot on for any application. it's offers the ackermann adjustments needed to linearize the steering input for different traction levels and track layouts. to name a few things...

I just got back from the Mi3 thread on the Schumacher message boards. And theres a lot of happy team drivers now in possesion of their Mi3 kits.

As to when the paying customers will get theirs, the speculation over there isn't so rosey. Hopefully its just speculation. But if its not, looks like I moved a little too early by striping my TA05 of its electronics...

Again, its just speculation over there, and man...man...MAN do I want it to be wrong, but thats all we've got to go on.

I guess...

It wouldn't seem so bad if those team drivers over there didn't seem so smug about getting thier kits already. Schumacher needs to put that crap in check... You don't rub stuff like that in the customer's face. Some of them were all business about it and looking to have set up sheets ready for those who want them, but some of them seemed like they couldn't wait to say 'well I already got mine', while the guys were looking for any info about when customers would get kits.

At first I thought I was just crazy, and letting the wait get to me, but a good number of other people seem to notice it too, and weren't too happy about it. Maybe we're all going crazy.

O'well...two delays in my last three cars will tend to do that.

Anyway...

Guess there aint much else to do but go back and look at the pics some more. Hard part is, I don't know if looking at the pics, exploded diagram, etc..., is making the wait harder or easier.

Default Foams

hi,

I know we think it should be good on foams but the last version had 2 editions one for rubber and one for foam!!! will this kit be ready for foams all will it need upgrades? does it come with a front diff? how stiff is it?
I run a 415 which has taken much work and money to make it fast on foams (4mm chassis, front diff, xray springs)...and i'm thinking of switching cars, and don't want to go xray like all the other sheep...but at the same time i don;t want to have to spend tons to get it foam ready...so what gives?
