thanks I have a mi2 that adrian help me set up for asphat. It has no riser in front and no riser on diff houses but the rear plate is in. I realy like the set up on asphalt. But it rolls alot , what you said about the mi2ec was much needed info, cause i have used the stock mi2 chassis up on all 6 edges.but its realy a great handling car in 10x mod class. I just trying to learn the roll process of the mi2 ec and you hit the mark on understanding my question thanks.

No problem, just glad I could help.

If it is rolling too much you could use swaybars or raise the inner suspension blocks maybe 1mm at a time til the roll is limited or a combination of sways and raising the inner hinge pins. I know the setup I have from Adrian didn't raise the suspension pins too much.

Hey all

I have just rebuilt my EC rear diff and was wondering how everyone is setting theirs up for carpet. I have always built them as per the manual but have heard people say to run them looser. What is the current opinion?

Thanks
Tim

I built my carpet diff one time. I used ceramic diff balls and the pro thrust bearing...sanded my rings with 600 grit paper and when it was done I had it almost completely locked and it felt "loose" but was not slipping at all. I think that your goal should be to just make sure the front is tighter than the rear and that there are no flat spots.

All I can say is if you like the MI2 EC the new car will be alot easier to work on and way more adjustable. Will easily be the best car Schumacher has ever produced IMO. It is a great time to be into running Schumacher products. They are really stepping up with this new car.

Another nice thing is PW and Adrian are on here alot to help guys out plus alot of team guys are also on here to help out. Some of the best customer service I have seen in 22 plus years. Hats go off to Adrian and PW for going over and above what they need to to help with Schumacher products.

I get teased for having mine, coming from an x-ray area. I told my hobbyshop to put an order in for an mi3, don't know if they will get it till summer, I know I will be the only one with one.
