PM BigDogRacing, he has one. From what I have heard about it is it's pretty sophisticated. It's like you set amperage for differant steps of a charge or something pertaining to that. Oh and it is equiped with a thermal probe. The whole case is the heat sink, not sure if there's fans in it.

Here's a link (japanese though): http://www.cna.ne.jp/%7Estraight/

And a graph, that says a little:

But here's my favorite, that feature 4-phase charging:

Robitronic Expert

Expert only has 3 phase charging. The only problem that they have is that they don't have as much control as the Record Breaker.

Recorder Breaker control the phase also at the capacity. And if you make an mistake in the program, you can screw up the battery. Many Japanese have put the difference settings for Record Breaker.

Out of all of this, I am interested to see Pitbull X3 and I wonder whether will it copy theirs from Sraight or something similar to Robitronic.

I used to own Expert but I sold it and got a Pulsar Competition instead because I end up using the Linear charging mode instead of 3P charging. I find that I can get more punch and capacity from Linear mode than 3P mode.

The Robitronic is arriving in the second edition in these days, and it actually introduce the fourth phase. The fourth phase is somekind of a adjustable overcharger, with the purpose of gaining more punch and temperature.

You are talking about the Expert Plus. I think they came out already.

Can you please explain this further?

I mean, further control will also require some knowledge to be done properly...

Do you know of someone, which screwed up the battery?

Did you experiment with different setting on your Expert, or did you just follow the recommendations in the manual?
