Default 17.5 brushless equivalent

I have been away from Touring Car racing for about 2 years and everyone is running brushless setups. I'm thinking of getting back into racing I still have all my brushed motors and I know I will have to upgrade.

So what brushed motor (turns) are equivalent to a 17.5 brushless? (I know it's not 27). I have the following 27, 19, 12, 10 and 9 turn motors.

I would say with a regular brushless esc with no additional timing that 19t would be the equivalent with 2s lipo. Now with a juiced esc I would say it would be in between a 19t and a 12t.

Thanks, I'll take a 19 and a 10 turn with me to practice.

Would it make a difference if I'm using NiMH?

definately yes
Lipo has more punch and the voltage stays higher for longer compared to nimh.
Only benefit nimh has is initial voltage is higher than lipo but drops off after a few laps.
