It sounds as if the 25.5 is more on par with the 27 turn stock than the 21.5 was.

SCAR 25.5 had A and B Mains tonight at Lou's Speedway. The Racers seem to love this very competitive class. Lou needs to get another order in to Novak for more 25.5 Systems as more people are building cars. SCAR 25.5 was the largest class tonight surpassing Mini, VTA and Rubber TC. We make Racing Simple, Fun and Affordable.

I grabbed the last system. Sold my 17.5 & Tekin RS to do so. That is how much I LOVE SCAR 25.5

Thanks John & Novak

NOVAK TWO: Is there a glitch on the shopatron site? I'm trying to buy a replacement stator, but all the drop down menus list the 3.5-8.5 stators, without listing any of the higher winds.

did you try the other stator options? I believe one is spec and the other is like custom or something? 25.5s are under that.

Yeah I did, and that made me think I was going nutty, but thanks for the pointer.

The 25.5 stators are in the "specialty" category; this is where we list Ballistic replacement wound 540 stators for which there is no ROAR category nor do we (generally) offer complete motors in these winds. We manufacture our 25.5 wind SS Pros and Ballistics for the USVTA.

Ballistic Specialty Hand-Wound Stators

And, a reminder; we created a separate "Vintage Trans-Am" section in our store, where you can find all Novak products, replacement parts, etc., chosen for the 2010-2011 USVTA series. This is handy, one-stop shopping for all your TeamNovak USVTA electronics and accessories:

The USVTA welcomes Newbs! If you have questions about our electronics, you can post them in this thread.

Cool, thanks for the explanation! Does that imply why there are no more 13.5 stators listed?

The Ballistic 540 replacement spec wimd stators are listed here:

Ballistic Spec Hand-Wound Stators

We have 5 separate listings for our Ballistic hand wound stators:

Thanks again! I figured Novak would still make the 13.5 stators, but here's my last question.....how come I can't navigate to that link through your website? When I go to the spec motor page, the replacement stators at the bottom of the page only lists 3.5-8.5.

Good question----Without checking, I would guess that the links on the older "spec motor page" have not been updated to include the new Ballistic Replacement Stators' page in the store.
