We will be adding two new Ballistic systems to the USVTA store:

~ Havoc 2S /Ballistic 25.5 system....154.99

~ Havoc Pro/Ballistic 25.5 system....194.00

We decided to offer both as systems, not combos. The Ballistic 25.5 motors will have the blue sleeve. We should have them in the Electronics category of the store in a couple of weeks.

We are also winding 25.5 stators so we can begin the Service Replacement Option Motor exchange. As soon as we have these motors available, you will be able to return any one (of 22) different "S Code" motors and exchange for an SS Pro 25.5. Price as listed.

We will also open a cross platform exchange from our SS Pro motors to the 25.5 Ballistic. Price will be 44.00 replacement price plus 20.00 exchange = 64.00.

We will be using the Havoc / 25.5 Brushless SS Combo in our SCAR (Spec Canadian Auto Racing) 200mm Pan Car Class.

SCAR 25.5 Class
Rules:
1/ 200mm Pan Car Chassis
2/ Novak Havoc Speed Control
3/ Novak 25.5SS Motor
4/ Orion 2400 LIPO
5/ CRC or Jaco Spec Tires
6/ HPI 4 Passenger 200mm Body
7/ 1,000 Gram Minimum Weight

We already run SCAR 17.5 (powered by Novak 17.5 SS) and SCAR 21.5 (powered by Novak 21.5 SS). Both use Orion 2400 LIPO Batteries. These two classes can use any ESC.

Will the 25.5 SS Motors be out when the 25.5 Ballistic are released??

Welcome! We are delighted to hear of participation in this cost-controlled program by other race series. If any of your members have questions about these Novak products, they are welcome to post them in this thread. We have very good store prices on factory-RMF escs if your racers are looking for spares.

We are currently building both SS Pro 25.5 and Ballistic 25.5 motors for the custom systems we are offering and for our BL Motor Service Exchange program. We have added a couple of systems to the USVTA store area and have recently updated our service program.

I got my 2 RMF havocs in and have them hooked up to my 21.5 motors, one being a ballistic.

Right now it feels a bit underpowered than what I had before, so my question is current rules have an FDR limit of 4.2, so I am thinking of doing the following:

- turning up the timing on the ballistic motor
- go with a smaller pinion gear to get punch back

thoughts?

You can return your motor to us and trade it in for either an SS Pro 25.5 (44.00) or a Ballistic 25.5 (64.00) + S/H.

I am assuming that your controller is fine; both of these motors are compatible with our controllers.

We now have inventory of our 25.5 motors, both SS Pro and Ballistic, to begin the motor exchanges for any USVTA members wishing to exchange other wind Novak BL motors for this series wind.

Please follow directions posted on this page:

Novak Service Option Motor Replacements

If any of you have questions about the exchange, please post them in this thread; suggestions about our over-all program in conjunction with the USVTA series are always welcome.

Are these going to be available through retailers as the supply goes up, or are they only going to be available through your website?

Thanks,

Thanks,
These specific motors (w/blue sleeve) for the USVTA are part of our Novak Trade-In service; they are only available as part of the program linked above.
