Default Vorza running backwards

I had a problem with my Vorza straight out of the box...

The Vorza ran backwards... ESC and transmitter were correctly configured as described in the manual, but when reverse was forward and forward was reverse.

If I pulled the trigger on the transmitter, I could see a green light on the ESC, but the car ran backwards, when I pushed the trigger away, I saw a red light but the car ran forward ...

I fixed it by installing the front and read differential the other way around - instead with the gear facing left, they are now facing right...

I was wondering if I was the only one who had this problem...

There should be a switch on your radio with servo reverse. Flick it and this should be fixed.

The Vorza has castle based elec speed controller, all you had to do was switch the outer wires that plug in from your speed controller to your motor.

This would also get a better response if you posted on the Electric Off-road forum, they already have a thread for that car.

The was indeed described in the manual. I configured every single thing as described in the manual, but it kept running backwards.

I then hooked the ESC to my CasteLink and configured the "reverse speed" as being only 10%. I left the forward speed at 100%, so I could very well see the difference.

The car ran forward at only 10%, and ran fullspeed backwards...

The motor was not configured as "reverse" on the ESC.

I thought about switching the outter wires, but the manual clearly states that A on the ESC should be connected to A on the motor, and B to B, and C to C.

I didn't want to switch the cables, because I don't know 100% if the motor is sensorless...

Must have been a hickup in the factory, someone drank too much when they installed the front and the read diff

- oh and ... wrong forum, sorry! -
