Arrow Motor Glitch (Different Thread)

I just ran my Yokomo SD today and whenever I go full throttle, it glitches. Nothing too bad. The steering's got a mind of its own and the motor stutters.

Also, if I just drive it around at a low speed (mid end-low end) its fine.

I think this could be because I haven't cut my comm in a while. What do you think?

Yep, cut your comm and install new brushes. Break it in till the brushes are fully seated(wear on all four corners of the brushes) and your good to go.

Randman on the SD thread had the same problem with his CGM chassis... he was able to eliminate the glitching problem by replacing the CGM SD with a XXX-S

Everyone is going for another car now, the yokomo is going to be old news. Darn, and I haven't even broken that many parts yet either.

Yep, if you've done over twenty runs on race brushes you can start to have problems. If you want the comm and bushes to last ages try some reedy 766 brushes, you'll have a touch less power but they'll last a long time. I generally cut my comm once a race day and either re-serrate or replace the brushes.
