What makes you think there is a Mk 3 update?

Except for some rumours here, there has been no official statement about any Mk 3 software. Usually Reto is very informative here, and I don't see any reason why they wouldn't update if possible.

Best,
Peter

I've found with a 17.5 on boost 5 it hesitates more at slow speeds and at boost 4 more at high speeds. I'm OK with the hesitation at slow speeds but at boost 5 the motor is too hot.

I'll be OK with NO hesitation.

now its time for Reto and LRP/Associated to take them back when asked and not give out lame excuses regarding custom problems, which is not my problem!

Any idea if we can send these to AE in the US for an update as well? I'm concerned there will be more updates before the firmware is right. Here's the translation:

Some may already have noticed how there can be with the MK II software is still minor problems with the one or the other on SXX Stock Spec motor controller.
The new, highly sophisticated software requires adapting to many different engines are extremely difficult. This led, unfortunately, partly to the lack of fully functioning regulator / motor combinations.
The line between working and not working is extremely narrow, some with the sliders have reacted very strongly to inaccuracies in the Sensorpostitionierung in the engine, it has initially expressed partly so that the motors are bad or not commenced or is a more or less strong jerk has manifested itself.
The MK II software could not quite catch.
The LRP test and development team has now once again staked his entire manpower and the problem is now solved.
So there is now the new software version MK III.

The new MK III software triggers "micro stuttering" problems that can occur under certain conditions.
What software do you currently have can be checked via pager when you turn (with an attached motor!).
- Mk1: No Beeper
- Mk2: two beeps
- Mk3: three beeps

New regulator of LRP are now shipping only with MK III software.

Anyone who has one 80,910 with old software may send to the LRP, and get a free upgrade.

That this has not gone any better, LRP is clear, that is what we want to apologize to all people, of course, express LRP.

Sincerely / Best regards

This is the response I got from AE in US.

Again there is no firmware update. If you do have a problem with your unit you can send it in for warranty evaluation just like any other LRP product.

I have heard of crap warranty/repair issues with LRP before, but didnt know how bad it was until you experience it yourself.

Well, I've seen yesterday failure one of those mighty working LRP SXX SS at our nationals. It was Zdenko Kunak's LRP with which he finished second at ETS race in Poland. It cost him second final.
