Update about availability of SXX StockSpec Version2 speedo, we're now very satisfied with it and will start shipping speedos to distributors by next week. But please understand it takes several weeks until it will be available everywhere and in large enough quantities.

I have attached the manual for guys interested in new features etc.

Thank you for the update Reto. Can't wait to get and run these in my cars.

Hope these are coming to the us via UPS pr FEDEX and not some container ship. I've been waiting on these a long time!

Word!

I'm also curious about the reference to LRP K4 motors in the instructions.....

Thinking more about it and with all the other discussion going on.... Maybe they are fixed timing versions?

Looks like ROAR is trying to outlaw the adjustable ESC from stock 17.5 racing in t/c

I'm thinking of buying LRP SXX v2 for "0 - boost" racing with 10.5T motor, but cannot find information about the LRP softwares. Is it possible to run software of LRP SXX SS v2 -speedo in SXX v2? Can I download it from LRP website, when it is released? I mean same kind of method than hobbywing-drivers can enjoy; one speedo, different softwares for stock and mod. I would like to be able to use one and only one speedo, but run zero-boost-classes, EFRA-stock and also mod. Now I'm using Tekin RS PRO (this meets my requirements), but not satisfied with the "feel".

Thanks,
Tuca.

The SXX stock spec has a zero boost setting as well. You could set it to zero boost (setting zero) and get the blinking light for spec racing. That should work with a mod motor as well.

So to get this right...

As shown by others in this thread, who have had their original SXX's updated to be firmware updatable, it is possible...

But LRP would rather sell more speedies rather then looking after those that bought the original... and buggy... SXX, by not allowing the update to be publicly available?

Good question... I would like to hear about that too... Mine has been sitting in the pitbag since the cogging issues, and not in use.
